My last day in Bangkok!A bright and sunny day here and my bro and my dad went for a swim at the pool in our hotel this morning.My mom went for some last minute shopping in Siam Centre and wow we haven't been to many of Bangkok's tourist attractions yet!Siam Discovery,Siam Paragon,Dunsit Zoo,Safari Zoo,Chatuchak Weekend Market...I really want to stay here for a few more days but too bad I have to go back to Singapore.We had pizza for lunch and now we're at the airport waiting for our flight back to Singapore.I'm going to miss Bangkok alot!And I've already missed many World Cup Matches lol but I got to watch some matches in our hotel.Did you watch the England V.S. Trinidad and Tobago match?It was the best!Rooney came in and they had three replacements.And Crouch scoring that late goal and Gerrard scoring that even later goal was great!At least they scored.But Crouch missed many openings.And Terry was really good;he kicked the ball out of the England's net and into a safeter zone.WOO HOO!It was the most exciting match,at least at the end anyway but duh,why am I talking about soccer when I should be talking about being in Bangkok lol.I can't wait for the ride back on the plane too.It's really fun being on a plane.I like being high up in the sky with the clouds and looking down at all those houses and fields.And when the plane starts to fly,it's really exciting.I think I might be crazy.I'll be back in Singapore in 3 hours so bye Bangkok and hello Singapore!

After a big breakfast including sausages,ham,baked beans,hashbrowns,loads of coffee,eggs and bacon,we're off to Dream World.To Thai people,20km to 25km are counted as near, but to Singaporeans like me,I think it's FAR!!! Another long trip in a car and we were among the first to visit the Dream World as it opened at 10am.Outside Dream World,there were stalls selling sweet corn on sticks,in cups and cotton candy and popcorn at a very low price.We went inside after getting the tickets and we took lots of pictures the moment we stepped in 'cause the place was really cool.the first place we went into was the giant's house in Fantasy Land.There were enormous boots lying about,enormous golden eggs in a basket,enormous chairs that you had to climb onto that was as tall as a ladder.Then we went for a bumper car ride in Adventure Land and then a Go-Kart ride that was really fun!You could speed around the corners and there were no stop signs or traffic lights,nor traffic jams lol.Then we went to Fantasy Land and we saw Cinderella's carriage pulled by two white horses,Snow White and the seven dwarfs' cottage,the house where Hansel and Gretal were held in,look inside the castle where Sleeping Beauty was sleeping in,lol,check out the pond where the frog turned into a prince and the place where Arthur pulled the sword out of a rock and turned into a king.Then we went for more rides;a roller coaster ride in space,a bumper boat ride,a water bicycle ride...We also went into a haunted mansion.Man,that was the best!The moment you stepped into the house,there was a head with long hair hanging from a rope.Then we walked up the stairs into a room (OK,maybe we tiptoed a little,lol) and then we went crazy, screaming at everything we saw lol,a cage which contained a crazy beast,a man hanging from the ceiling,bloodied heads and hands,a cave man glaring at us from a cage, a skeleton looking at us from a cage...it was so funny and scary at the same time.There were no lights about and we used a torchlight,lol.We were still screaming when we went outside and people looked at us like we were mad,lol.IT WAS HILLARIOUS! Then we went for ANOTHER buffet lunch then we went to Snow Land.We changed into jackets and boots then we went into a room which was so cold!There were snow everywhere and there was also a snowman and an igloo.I didn't go for the sleigh ride down the slope lol,cause I was just so freezing cold!(Ok I admit,I was afraid to do it. =P)After that we went back to somewhere near our hotel and walked to Pratunam Market,where there were all sorts of stuff around.Then we walked some more,to another shopping centre and it was at there that I found something I was interested in,at last;a shop selling soccer t-shirts!My brother bought an England t-shirt with Rooney's name on it,along with England shorts and my dad bought a Germany t-shirt and an England one,with Beckham's name on it.My brother also bought a Chelsea t-shirt,with Lampard's name on it,that could be hung on his handphone.My brother and I then each bought an England wristband with the crest and flag of the England team on it.YAY!We then walked again,and we saw a stall selling fried cockroaches, worms, crickets, scorpions, flies and something else that couldn't be identified.Eww right?My legs were about to break by then and although we were told by the tour guide to take a taxi back to our hotel,we walked until we reached a Coca Restaurant near our hotel accidently.Anyway we ate a hot steamboat dinner there then we walked back to our hotel.I'm totally exhausted and tomorrow I'm going back to Singapore.*Sigh*How I wish I could stay longer!

WOW!What a long day!The trip to the floating market at Damnoen Saduak took 2 HOURS!!!Arghhh!Almost the same amount of time to get from Singapore to Bangkok!And my butt was like stuck onto the chair 'cause the road was really bumpy and uneven!ARGH!!!And the traffic jams were really horrifying.The traffic lights could stay red for a few minutes duh and you could see motorcyles and tuk-tuks (A three-wheeled vehicle which can seat two people or at most three that acts as a taxi.And nobody really cares 'cause you can see about four or five almost everytime in one tuk-tuk.And if you still don't know what it is,remember the James Bond advertisement?The guy driving a three-wheeled vehicle flying over everything just to send James Bond to a dance or something duh.)The motorcycles also act as taxis but you don't get to wear a helmet and I once saw three person sitting on one bike.They zoom through the traffic and if you want to get a heart attack,just take one of these two taxis.Anyway you couldn't really sleep through a ride on the roads of Bangkok cause the first time I tried I banged my head on the window and almost broke my neck (OK it wasn't THAT serious) but I have now sinced learned how to sleep through a ride like that and I ain't gonna tell you how lol!Anyway the ride was VERY LONG and the floating market was VERY FAR but it was worth it,yeah.We reached a river near there,and we got to sit in something like a boat but we had to sit on the floor of the boat and hold on to the sides and the outside sides (lol) of the boat was submerged in water almost to the top.And yup,the tour guide told us that there was no insurance and you had to keep your hands,legs,fingers,whatever,inside the boat.Lol.It was really fun though,and some water sprayed in during the ride.We then went through some canals and you could see houses and floating plants and if you wanted to visit a neighbour you had to go by boat.
After 45 minutes,we reached the floating market.WOW!People in small flat boats filled the whole canal;and we then transfered in one of those boats.One boat could sit four person and it costs 400 Baht for one boat.Then we had to jostle through the crowd of other boats,pile high with fruits,vegetables,coconuts,food cooked on the boats...The boat we were in could hardly move through the crowd and it was chaotic.People shouting and selling their goods all around us and we could take our time to look at the stuff they sold and but some.The fruits there were really cheap-1kg of fruits could cost from 20 Baht to 40 Baht.My mom was a good bargainer lol,and it was essential at the floating market.After that we took a bus ride to the Rose Garden Resort.Lol,it was just a name and there weren't any roses there.We had another buffet lunch hahaz,then we went to watch an elephant show and a Thai cultural show,which includes performances of hilltribe dancing, sword fighting, Muay Thai (Thai boxing),takraw (a local Thai sport).Then it was time to go back to the hotel.We then went to MBK and shopped for the rest of the evening and had our dinner there.Another long and exciting day for me,lol, and I am off to sleep.Tomorrow it will be another buffet breakfast (We have free buffet breakfasts for the four days we are here) and Dream World,an amusement park...

Hello!I'm reporting live from Bangkok!(Ok,not really live but nevermind...) It was a rainy day here in Bangkok this afternoon when we landed at the airport.I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M REALLY IN BANGKOK!Lol...Anyway I'm at the hotel I'm going to stay in for four days;Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square and my mom thinks it's safer if we took a limousine here from the airport and the limo is actually a BMW I think,but nevermind it's comfortable and I don't mind.But it's expensive-1800++ Baht and it's about $70++.And it's only for a 45 minutes ride from the airport to the hotel!!!(100 Bahts is about $4)Anyway it was quite a fun ride and the streets were flooded due to the rain and the traffic was bad.There was a huge traffic jam all the way from the airport to the hotel and well,it's very different from Singapore.I forgot to mention that Bangkok's time is one hour slower than Singapore's so yay I have an extra hour lol.The hotel is great and the room we are staying in has a nice view;to our front is Mah Boon Krong (MBK) a shopping centre which is huge and to our right is the MRT or Skytrain,I'm not sure,and next to it is Siam Paragon,Siam Centre,both of them also major shopping centres and then there is the Siam Discovery Centre.
After unpacking we went for some snacks along the streets near our hotel and it's REALLY REALLY different from Singapore,because you can see food stalls EVERYWHERE!Really!You walk along a street and suddenly,BAM!You walk into a food stall.Lol...Well the food stalls are like the ice-creams stalls that can move about in Singapore but we have only ice-cream stalls but they have everything!Coconuts,sweet corn,noodles,rice...If you want it,they most probably have it.Then we also went into A&W,wow it has been many years since I ate in A&W...There were once A&W stores in Singapore but I don't see any now in Singapore.After that we are off to Chao Phraya River.
There was a boat,a large one waiting for us over at the river-Chao Phraya Princess,I think.We were going onboard to hasve a Thai international buffet on the boat and we were greeted by a man playing a saxophone.YAY!Go saxophonists!Lol.Then we were sailing along the Chao Phraya River.The view was fantastic!So many magnificent temples lined the shores off the Chao Phraya River and we enjoyed a great dinner on the boat.The trip was about 2 hours and I'm so tired so I'm going to go to sleep now.I have to wake up at 5.45am tomorrow (ARGH!) cause I'm going to the famous floating market in bangkok so goodnite!Anyway there's going to be a buffet breakfast at the hotel's restaurant so...zZzZzZzZzZzZ
